Transforming SRHR for Sex Workers (Members only)

Launch of the IMAP Statement on Sex Worker-Centered SRH Services
Sex og Politikk / IPPF Norway and our member organization Pion contribute to the webinar «Transforming SRHR for Sex Workers: Launch of the IMAP Statement on Sex Worker-Centered SRH Services».
Background:
Sex workers across the globe face heightened barriers to sexual and reproductive health services, often due to criminalization, stigma, and discrimination. To respond to these systemic inequalities, IPPF has developed a new IMAP Statement on Sex Worker-Centered Services, providing clear guidance for delivering inclusive, respectful, and rights-based care that centers sex workers’ needs, voices, and leadership.
This webinar will officially launch the IMAP Statement, amplify sex worker-led strategies, and highlight promising practices from IPPF Member Associations and partners through the lens of four key intervention areas: structural, behavioral, biomedical, and socio-economic.
This webinar will:
- Introduce the IMAP Statement, its scope, and how it aligns with IPPF’s commitments to community-centered, inclusive SRHR.
- Showcase concrete examples of effective, rights-affirming services and advocacy efforts led by or in partnership with sex workers.
- Strengthen cross-learning and solidarity between sex worker organizations, SRHR providers, and allied movements.
- Encourage uptake of the IMAP guidance across the Federation and beyond.
This is a members only webinar.
